Lindsey Hansen-Sturm’s first GYROTONIC® training was an eye opening experience into the full potential of the human body’s ability to perform and achieve health. This was back in 1998, after spending many years as a competitive swimmer, tri-athlete and completing her doctorate in Chiropractic. The GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® was the missing link Lindsey was searching for.
Now all the concepts that Lindsey has been studying concerning human body wholeness and its self healing capabilities became a living experience through GYROTONIC® exercises, and has led her to pursue advanced courses in both the Gyrotonic methodology and Cranial-Sacral Therapy.
In 2004 Lindsey became a GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® Level I Master Trainer. She is now a GYROKINESIS® Level I and Level 2 Master Trainer, and a Jumping Stretching Board Master Trainer. The GYROTONIC® principles have helped reshape Lindseys Chiropractic practice into one that now emphasizes cranial-sacral therapy, acupuncture and soft tissue techniques. Lindsey believes the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® is an integrated approach to healing because it promotes creativity and gives us the opportunity to explore our fullest potential. It is her passion to share this wisdom and joy with others. Lindsey teaches individuals, groups and conducts GYROTONIC® Level 1 Teacher Trainings.

Jenny was introduced to the amazing GYROTONIC® method while on a soul searching journey. She knew that she wanted to make a career shift into the world of holistic healing but wasn’t sure where to begin. So she reached out to some professionals in the field for some guidance and she was soon pointed in the direction of GYROTONIC®. Excited to learn about this interesting method Jenny began her research and was in awe of what she discovered. She wasted no time setting up a private session to experience the work first hand and that was all she needed to confirm that this was it! Her new path. The methods used on the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® translate so beautifully into her everyday life. Whether it’s hiking, biking, performing on aerial silks or even just relaxing. Through this practice she has not only noticed the physical improvements like her strength and increased range of motion, but she has also felt a positive shift with the connection to her body. It’s as if she has unlocked parts of herself that were stuck, opening their energetic pathways, and allowing them to flow more freely. Now she wants to share that gift with everyone.
Hey there, I’m Mikey, a 34 year old b-boy/breakdancer, drummer, and movement aficionado who found out how to heal my body through the Gyrotonic® Expansion System. Just a short time ago, I thought I was going to have to stop spinning on my head, doing 1-arm freezes, and other super fun dance moves. I felt defeated by the pain I was experiencing and I was losing my range of motion fast as a result. Fortunately, my girlfriend had heard about Gyrotonic Bodhi, a place where a lot of people were coming to overcome those exact issues. After my first lesson, I was overwhelmed with joy because I knew this was going to help me get rid of that debilitating pain in my lower back that was hindering my training. Fast forward to today, I’m a certified apprentice of the system and I’m helping others find the balanced, energized, pain-free state I prefer to exist in. I am able to train at a higher frequency with more intensity than ever. I can personally attest to the benefits of the system including increased spinal mobility, increased range of motion, amplified agility, and boosted vital energy. I truly believe the Gyrotonic® Method is the yin to my yang. Had I not found this amazing system the consequences would have been disastrous. I was on a downward spiral, feeling helpless and defeated by my pain, my accumulated injuries, and some dramatic health issues that came up. I’m genuinely proud to say, “that time is finished!!” I highly recommend claiming your discounted session to see how it makes you feel. It’ll be an expansive power-hour to say the least.

After retiring from aerials, Lisa began studying dance and looks forward to continuing for many years to come. This seems possible with the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®. Lisa is also the director of 3rd Law Dance/Theater’s Dance for Parkinson’s program, and is happy to be able to share the amazing benefits of GYROKINESIS® with people with Parkinson’s and other mobility challenges.
